Tissue microarray slides with varying grades of glioma and adjacent normal brain tissues

Materials and Methods:

Tissue microarray (TMA) consisting of three to six representative 0.6-mm cores from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue blocks was generated in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at OSU. Glioma tissue samples were collected from patients who underwent surgery at OSU Medical Center. Deidentified clinical data is attached to each sample (e.g. age, sex, location, prior treatment, patient survival, and so on). After immunohistochemistry, tissues too small and/or crushed were eliminated, and 91 samples were processed to the quantitative analysis using Immunoratio software (http://imtmicroscope.uta.fi/immunoratio/).
